In Elven, mela means love, and lina means song. I combined the two, and thus, Melinath means love song. Melinath is the personal site and blog of a young woman. It serves as an escape from reality and a place to let creativity flow where I can truly be myself.
History
Web design and I have shared a special relationship since 2002 when I learned the magic of HTML from a website that offered free lessons on anything. I was hosted on freeservers, such as Freewebs, but soon moved into a subdomain, where I got my feet wet by making embarrassingly simple layouts. Later, I moved into another subdomain where my second host introduced me to WordPress. I haven't used another blogging software since. At this second subdomain, I continued to grow in my webdesign skills. Before I knew it, I took the big leap in 2005 and bought my own domain -

Having my own domain gave me the freedom to really express myself, not just in my blog, but in my writings, projects, layouts, etc. However, after about a year, I did not have enough funds to renew it, and so with a heavy heart, I reluctantly said goodbye to .When my domain expired, so did my time on the internet, and I haven't been online since then up until now. Now, I am happily hosted by Amanda and it's wonderful to be back to the blogging/webdesign world again!
